The Story of August Kinn
So how did August Kinn come to be? In the same way most other things were created, a couple of moms put their minds to something and got it done!
August Kinn opened its doors in 2017 and it’s the creation of two moms, Julie and Katie. The pair were best friends and roommates in college, who then went on to be neighbours, and then went on to get pregnant at the same time! Great minds continued to think alike when the two collaborated to form August Kinn.
The store is named after Julie and Katie’s birth month, August, and their inspiration to begin the store, their kin or family. They both became enthralled with finding the best selection of baby things while they were pregnant and now they get to do that very same thing every day!
