I met this sweet family near Sunnybrook Park in Leaside. It was a location that was special to them and it didn't disappoint! We got a super warm and sunny evening for our session. Little M did amazing for her first ever professional photo session. Her doggie brother Charlie was a perfect gentleman and let his little sister shine.

The M family chose to have their first family portrait session during a beautiful October evening. We chose High Park for this outdoor location and it didn't disappoint. With the beautiful light and fall colours, we couldn't help but get amazing photographs. Their beautiful daughter was full of joy and sass and was a dream to photograph!

I strongly encourage you to print your family images! Don't let them hide away on your hard drive. My top 2 collections come with an artwork credit to use to purchase loose prints, framed prints fine art albums and more.

1. Say Hello
Send me a message through my contact form and let's start the conversation about your perfect session. I want to hear it all. What type of session you are interested in, how many people will be photographed, when are you looking to book. Ask me anything. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Based on your needs we will select a date for you and move forward with signing a session agreement and paying your session retainer. This will get you on my calendar! I respond to all messages within 48 hours. Usually it's in 24 though (I'm a classic overachiever!).
Once we've got your session in my calendar we can plan all the fun details! Depending on your ideal location (think urban vs in nature) I can make suggestions on where the best spots are.
I will also work with you to select the best wardrobe options for the type of session you are interested in. Choosing the right style and colours for your session will make it that much more amazing!

Leading up to your session, send me an email or give me a call if you have any questions. Stuck on what to wear? I can help! Send me pictures of your choices and we can decide together. I will be with you every step of the way. My priority is to ensure this is a seamless and enjoyable experience for you.

Now is your time to shine! You can enjoy your session, knowing that all the details have been taken care of. Have fun with your kids! I am here to capture the beautiful moments. Don’t worry, I will help to pose you naturally and prompt you so that you don’t feel awkward or alone! Having fun is my main objective. I want capture the giggles and the tender moments.
5. your photographs
This is the exciting part! Session galleries are usually ready to view within 1 week. I try to get them out as quickly as possible. I will send you a private gallery to view your session images. You will be able to select your favourites and choose a collection according to your needs. You may also decide to purchase products such as prints, or fine art albums.
6. Choose your products
Once your final images are ready, your gallery will be linked to my product store. Here is where you can use your complimentary artwork credit that comes with my top packages! Products include: loose prints and framed prints, everyday albums and fine art albums, wall art including canvases, metal and acrylic pieces and fun items such as holiday cards and ornaments!

Where will My family session take place?
Family sessions can take place outdoors at locations around Toronto, such as parks, neighbourhood streets, or green spaces, or in your home for a more relaxed feel. We can also shoot in We’ll choose a location that suits your family and the season. Generally, outdoor sessions take place from May-November.
What happens if we need to reschedule our family session?
Life happens, I get it. If you need to reschedule your family session, I generally require 48 hours notice. If you or your kiddos are sick the day of the session, just let me know asap and we can find a new date based on my availability. For outdoor sessions, we will pick a back up date in case of rain.
I'm worried my kids won't cooperate!
That’s completely normal and expected. I don’t require children to sit still or smile on cue. Sessions are child-led and flexible, allowing space for movement, curiosity, and personality. Some of the best images come from moments that feel unscripted. I always tell parents to be relaxed and playful with their kids. Expect a bit of chaos!
What should we wear for our family photos?
I recommend neutral tones, soft textures, and colours that work well together without being overly matched. After booking, I’ll share a session prep guide that includes simple styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable.
When will we receive our images?

Final galleries are delivered within 14 days of purchase. All final galleries will include colour and black and white images.
