At home newborn sessions are perfect for those wanting a relaxed experience with natural looking images.
Send me a message through my contact form and let's start the conversation about your perfect session. I want to hear it all. When you are due, who will be photographed. Ask me anything. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Based on your due date we can schedule a tentative session date. Your paid session retainer will ensure a date on my calendar. Once your baby is born, we will touch base to determine if our date still works.
**It's best to book your newborn session a few months before your baby is due to ensure I have the availability for you.

Once we've got your session in my calendar we can plan all the fun details! We can plan colour schemes based on your homes decor. I will work with you to select the best wardrobe options. I will also advise you on how to prep your home and the spaces we will be using. I will send you a prep guide so you know what to wear and how to prep your house and the baby for your session. I have a selection of beautiful neutral outfits that your newborn can borrow for our session too!
Leading up to your session, send me an email or give me a call if you have any questions. Stuck on what to wear? I can help! Not sure what rooms to use? Send me pictures of your space and we can decide together. I will be with you every step of the way. My priority is to ensure this is a seamless and enjoyable experience for you.

Now is your time to shine! You can enjoy your session, knowing that all the details have been taken care of. Snuggle your newborn, look lovingly into your partner's eyes, I am here to capture the beautiful bond of your new family. Don’t worry, I will help to pose you naturally and prompt you so that you don’t feel awkward or alone!
Our session will be as relaxed as possible. If baby needs nursing breaks or becomes fussy, don't sweat it. I will make sure we get all the special moments. I usually spend between 1-2 hours with my newborn families. I work as quickly as possible to ensure you receive a beautiful gallery of images to choose from.
4.Your session!
This is the exciting part! Session galleries are usually ready to view within one week. I try to get them out as quickly as possible. I will send you a private gallery to view your session images. You will be able to select your favourites and choose a collection according to your needs. I have 3 main collections and one album collection. My top two collections come with an artwork credit that can be used in my product store (see next slide).
5. your photographs
Once your final images are ready, your gallery will be linked to my product store. Here is where you can use your complimentary artwork credit that comes with my top packages! Products include: loose prints and framed prints, everyday albums and fine art albums, wall art including canvases, metal and acrylic pieces and fun items such as holiday cards, birth announcements and ornaments!

Newborn collections Begin at $550 + Hst for 15 digital images
I have a variety of newborn portrait collections for you to choose from. Newborn collections include both digital images and artwork credits so that you can display your beautiful images in your home.
A non-refundable retainer secures your date and time on my calendar. This amount will be deducted from the collection you choose after your session is complete.

When should I schedule a
newborn session?
What should we wear for
our session?
How long will my newborn
session take?
I recommend booking your session with me a few months before your baby is due. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions a month to ensure that my clients get their preferred dates. Generally newborn sessions are scheduled within the first 2 weeks after your baby has arrived. At the time of your booking, we will pencil in a date and once your baby has arrived we will finalize the date.
My newborn sessions take between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This gives us lots of time for cuddles, diaper changes, feeding and whatever else the baby might need. When siblings are involved, they tend to go a little longer than 90 minutes.
Once you have booked a date with me, I will send you my session prep guide which includes lots of information on what to wear. Neutrals and softer colours are always a great option. However if your home has a richer colour scheme then coordinating with that will also be great! I have a selection of beautiful outfits that your newborn can borrow for our session.
Are siblings and pets welcome?
YES!! My sessions involve the whole family. If your pets want to cooperate then the more the merrier! If grandparents are visiting, they are welcome to join in some photos at the end of our session too!
