What to expect when working with me
Your proofing gallery will include a beautiful story of your family. I try not to show too many of the same "pose". I want you to have a great variety of images to choose from without being overwhelmed with choice. You choose what you love.
Send me a message through my contact form and let's start the conversation about your perfect session. I want to hear it all. When you are due, who will be photographed. Ask me anything. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
**It's best to book your maternity session once you are in your second trimester. Sessions take place anywhere from 28 weeks to 36 weeks.

Once we've got your session in my calendar we can plan all the fun details! We can plan colour schemes based on your homes decor or outdoor location. I will work with you to select the best wardrobe options. I will also advise you on how to prep your home and the spaces we will be using. I will send you a prep guide so you know what to wear and how to prep your house for your session if you choose to have your photos taken in your home.
Leading up to your session, send me an email or give me a call if you have any questions. Stuck on what to wear? I can help! Not sure what rooms to use? Send me pictures of your space and we can decide together. I will be with you every step of the way. My priority is to ensure this is a seamless and enjoyable experience for you.

Now is your time to shine! You can enjoy your session, knowing that all the details have been taken care of. Don’t worry, I will help to pose you naturally and prompt you so that you don’t feel awkward or alone!
Our session will be as relaxed as possible. We will have fun with wardrobe changes and taking photos in all the amazing spaces in your home! I usually spend between 60 and 90 minutes with my maternity clients.
4.Your session!
This is the exciting part! Session galleries are usually ready to view within one week. It try to get them out as quickly as possible. I will send you a private gallery to view your session images. You will be able to select your favourites and choose a collection according to your needs. .
This is also the time where you can use your complimentary artwork credit to select which beautiful images you would like displayed in your home.

Maternity collections begin at $450 + Hst for 10 digital images
I have a variety of maternity portrait collections for you to choose from. Maternity collections include both digital images and artwork credits so that you can display your beautiful images in your home.
A non-refundable retainer secures your date and time on my calendar. This amount will be deducted from the collection you choose after your session is complete.

When should I schedule a maternity session?
What should we wear for our session?
How long will my maternity session take?
I recommend booking your session with me once you are in your second trimester. I only take a limited number of maternity sessions a month to ensure that my clients get their preferred dates. Generally maternity sessions are scheduled between 28-36 weeks pregnant.
My maternity sessions take between 60 and 90 minutes. This gives us lots of time for wardrobe changes and photographing in different rooms. When siblings are involved, they tend to go closer to 90 minutes.
Once you have booked a date with me, I will send you my session prep guide which includes lots of information on what to wear. Neutrals and softer colours are always a great option. However if your home has a richer colour scheme then coordinating with that will also be great! For maternity sessions, I recommend choosing a few options. For example, a super cute bralette/panty set with an oversized shirt/sweater, some comfy jean and even a dress you feel beautiful in! It's nice to get a bit of variety in your session to give you more options to choose from.
Are siblings and pets welcome?
YES!! My sessions involve the whole family. If your pets want to cooperate then the more the merrier!
