There’s something truly magical about High Park in the fall. The crisp air, the vibrant colors of the changing leaves, and the warm golden light make it an absolutely stunning location for a maternity session. I met K & E at golden hour to take advantage of the beautiful warm light. We were lucky enough to get a warm evening despite it being almost November! Our session started out a bit overcast, which is never a problem at this location, and then the sun came out towards the end of our session. We had the best time chatting, laughing and taking so many beautiful images.
It’s always so fun to photograph first time parents to be, because their is an undeniable sense of excitement in the air. Perhaps there is a bit of nervousness thrown in there too. I often talk to my kids about having more than one feeling at a time about something. It’s like being super excited for the first day of school, but also feeling nervous because you don’t know what your teacher will be like or if your friends will be in your class. When I look at K & E’s maternity session, I see pure love and joy. I know their precious baby is going to be so loved.
